Moderate intense developing aromas of minerality: tar, smokiness; oak, nutmeg, ginger, leather and ripe fruit: plums and black berries.
Palate
Moderate acidity integrating well with ample quantities of ripe tannins. It is medium bodied with intense mature berried fruit flavours: plums and cranberries, coupled by mineral hints of an earthy and stony nature. A very elegant terroir-driven wine from an exceptional vintage, harmonious with soft, juicy fruit, complex aromas and velvety texture. It is excellent to drink now but can keep for at least another 6-7 years.
