The 2004 vintage was characterised by average winter climatic conditions and a particularly cool summer, with the average temperature for July being as much as 3°C lower than the average for the month. This led to a prolonged maturity, giving particularly well structured, balanced wines.

Appearance
Medium intensity with a fading ruby core and slightly tawny hint showing development.
Nose
Moderate developing aromas of cooked fruit: baked plums, jamminess; spicy and herbal with nuances reminiscent of mint.
Palate
Soft acidity with silky, mature tannins. Developing flavours of overcooked black fruit: blueberries and a creamy mouth coating texture.
Conclusion
It is ready to drink now but can keep for a further 1-2 years.
