The Cheval Franc Estate spans over 41.5 tumoli and is situated on the Wardija hillside, overlooking the islands of St. Paul. This Estate is planted with two grape varieties consisting of Cabernet Franc and Syrah. The particular “terroir” of the Estate favours the growth of structured aromatic wines.
Cheval Franc is Marsovin's thoroughbred and is made predominantly from Cabernet Franc grapes blended with Syrah grapes, both grown and handpicked from the Cheval Franc Estate. This medium bodied ruby red wine has distinct peppery and herbaceous aromas, which are typical characteristics of the Cabernet Franc grape.
